Applications are accepted throughout the year for all waiting lists that are open. Waiting lists are ordered first by preference, and second by date and time of application. Applicants will be contacted by mail at their last known address when their name comes to the top of a waiting list.
The Housing Authority also purges its waiting lists on a regular basis by sending a letter of continued interest to all applicants:
WAITING LIST PURGE NOTICE- A yellow postcard will be sent out to all applicants on March 6th, 2013. In order to remain on the waiting list(s) responses need to be returned to the Fort Collins Housing Authority no later than March 20th, 2013.
In addition, applicants should always keep the Housing Authority advised of their current address by filling out a Waitlist Change Form for any change of address.
