Lease Terms and Conditions
The Public Housing Lease is a tenant’s legal contract with the Housing Authority for their unit. It contains the language required for the Public Housing Program.
Reasonable Accommodations
Sometimes people with disabilities may need a reasonable accommodation in order to take full advantage of the Fort Collins Housing Authority’s housing programs and related services. When such accommodations are granted they do not confer special treatment or advantage for the person with a disability; rather, they make the program fully accessible to them in a way that would otherwise not be possible due to their disability. Some examples of a reasonable accommodation might be: an accessible or ground floor unit, additional search time for a Housing Choice Voucher holder, an additional bedroom for a live-in aide or a home visit to complete paperwork for an annual certification. This list includes only a few of the more common requests. If you would like to request an accommodation, please complete our Reasonable Accommodation Request Form.
