SRO (single Room Occupancy) transitional
housing for homeless
Transitional housing for homeless single men and women. In the SROs,
residents rent a private room, with shared bathrooms, kitchen, and living area.
The process is relatively quick, from application to receiving keys, can be
within 3 months. When the SRO program is full, we keep a waiting list of people
who have been pre-approved, so that they can move in as soon as there is a
vacancy. With three different sites and different income requirements, we can
house individuals who find jobs and also those who need extra time to set up
support services.
The SRO sites have resident managers, and case
management is provided through the Larimer Center for Mental Health and the PATH
program. No pets. Emergency housing for homeless men or women is available
through the Catholic Charities Northern Mission or the Open Door Mission.
Renting a single room through FCHA is a transition to stable housing.
Wait Time: 3-4 months
